One Bedroom Flat Town Centre Colchester

Pros: Hospitality such as extra towels, slippers and pillows was amazing for a nice night stay And super clean !!

Pros: Great location for getting into the town centre, very near the castle. If you like real ale the Three Wise Monkeys is recommended and they serve food. Parking right outside the flat big enough for our Kia Ceed estate. Clean and tidy plenty of toiletries provided shampoo, shower gel etc.

Cons: Couldn't find any kitchen knives, so when we tried to cut up pizza we only had normal cutlery. We also had to look up the oven instructions as all of the temperature and setting markings have completely disappeared.

Great location, modern, comfortable

Pros: The property was modern and clean with nice little touches like coffee pods and lots of toiletries provided. The bed was really comfortable. Excellent location for what we needed it for. The host was very responsive to messages.

Cons: The road was extremely loud

Good place but not for light sleepers

Pros: Good communication with the host. It was clean and it even had toothbrushes in the bathroom and filtered water in the fridge.

Cons: The bedroom is next to the street so it was noisy. Too noisy for me but OK for the kids.

Central

Pros: Walk to old town and historic landmarks Complete for a longer stay if required. Separate bedroom, living area, kitchen. Had laundry facility and parking.

Very nice flat, felt well there, very comfy big double bed and comfortable pillows.

Pros: Very comfortable big beds and pillows, excellent location.

Cons: Windows out onto the main road and therefore a bit noisy during the day, but nights were acceptable.

Pros: The place was good value for money for self catering families. Ideally located near the town centre and other retail and entertainment facilities.

Cons: Being close to the road there was some vehicular noise at times thought it was not much of a bother. The kettle provided was unusable due to the heavy limescale deposits contained therein.

Excellent apartment in a great location

Pros: The apartment was clean comfortable and in a great location for our stay in Colchester

Cons: Only minor whinge was the noise generated by the neighbours but that is out of the rental control.

Convenient and comfy Colchester apartment

Pros: Short walk up the hill to town. Courtyard parking space outside the door. Good-sized bedroom with an extra large bed. Comfy living area with small dining table. Clean and modern. Great little ground floor apartment. Landlord was efficient with communications and the keysafe system made arriving and leaving very easy.

Cons: Nothing to dislike really, though overall it seemed abit dark and lacking in atmosphere and a couple of lights didn't work in the kitchen but that was all, so very minor. Being next door to a pub might not be ideal for some people but it didn't bother us. Looked quite nice but didn't get chance to try it out. Was only abit noisy one night of our 3 night stay.
