Comfortable and stylish stay close to the Roman city high street

Pros: Very close to the town centre The apartment was lovely. It was cosy and stylish, lovely bed and the kitchenette had every you wanted for self catering including a washer dryer for your clothes. Although we didn’t meet the proprietor they were very helpful and when we reported a small issue, they had fixed it by the time we had got back from afternoon tea.

Cons: This is not a criticism for us as we wanted to be close to the town centre, so it was expected, but it could be extremely noisy at night, between pub closing and early morning.

Pros: Wow, wow, wow! Stay Lux truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Even before check-in, the host, Fiona, reached out after I mentioned a few special requests and responded almost instantly. She even decorated the apartment so I could surprise my partner, which was such a thoughtful touch. The apartment itself is beautiful and has all the right amenities. Despite being a studio, there was plenty of space to relax, eat, and sleep comfortably. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. We’re so happy we chose to stay here and will definitely be back. Excellent value for money and a real gem for anyone looking to make their stay feel a little extra special. Thank you so much!

Lovely furnished apartment however located in a very busy and loud street

Pros: The apartment itself was lovely, had all the facilities you would require and was furnished very nicely and even had some books and a chess board.

Cons: The location of the apartment is right next to the main high street and is located on the same street as multiple bars which played loud music until midnight every night and meant all night long all you would hear was drunk individual walking past the apartment which made it very difficult to sleep - which explained the ear plugs which were left on the bed on arrival.

Very clean and tidy apartment, Very central! Overall a very happy stay!

Pros: Very good central location, Perfect for the summer series at the castle. Everything you could need in the apartment, very clean and very tidy! Lovely bathroom and shower.

Cons: Only thing I could complain about is the noise outside the apartment... we had a group of drunks wake us up at 4am.. obviously not the hosts fault! Can't fault anything else! I would recommend the apartment supply a white noise machine to try and drown this out.

Pros: Well located, well appointed - close to everything - restaurants, shopping, public transport service. Apartment has everything - washer/dryer, complete kitchen, good Internet, airco. Spotlessly clean, well maintained, safe.

Cons: Only small quibble - it can get noisy at night, but they give you ear plugs. So pretty much a non issue.

Pros: Great property, owner very accommodating, brilliant facilities and location

Cons: Nothing! Property was lovely!

Pros: I had a problem getting the door codes etc as my phone was running out of power but the host was really patient and helpful. Kitchen well stocked and some nice welcome treats.

Cons: Central location is very convenient but some loud music from nearby bar in the evening, but it was Bank Holiday weekend, and it wrapped up by 11.30pm so OK really.

Pros: A modern concept, very clean, spaces. The host was very friendly and helpful. Value for money and the location is within the city, easy to walk around in the city. Will definitely come and stay in this very nice apartment. Strongly recommended.

Cons: We booked the flat for the weekend, Saturday night was the worst as a club nearby is open until 2 am and a lot of drunk people passing by the property and shouting. Earplugs are provided but unfortunately I am the kind of person that I am irritated by them.
