Pros: Very comfortable property, plenty of space for the family. The host had left some things in the fridge which is always lovely and there were all the things you could need in the house. Really great location - lots to see within walking distance and places like Frinton a short drive away.

Cons: The kitchen was unheated as radiator wasn't working, so it was very cold. Bring slippers to wear downstairs!

Relaxing holidays with repeat potential

Pros: Many rooms, ideal for families with children. Beautiful furnishings and room decoration. Beautiful garden with charcoal barbecue.

Cons: The car park situation is not ideal. It was difficult to find a free space during the holiday season.

Christmas break at the coast

Pros: We had our family Christmas break at the cottage, arriving on Christmas Eve for 4 nights. We know Harwich & liked the location so had plenty of seaside walks. We cooked a full Christmas dinner in the cottage & enjoyed putting the wood burner on every evening to relax. The bedrooms were comfortable & spacious.

Cons: On check in, we realised that the 2 radiators weren’t working in the bedrooms on the top floor. This was reported multiple times to the local contact as well as the owner on day 3 but got no response. These bedrooms were really cold, especially as it was December & the windows are not double glazed. We managed to slightly heat one bedroom with a small electric heater but it wasn’t acknowledged or rectified.
