Cons: Sink is very small but works for cleaning your teeth!

A great way to stay away from home
Pros: It was a clean facility. The owner was a very kind and patient person He communicated well with me when I couldn't locate the place. I strongly recommend. If you are coming to lachington from Chelsford drop at station and walk back. The house is easy to locate on the right. I enjoyed every moment spent.
Cons: Nothing, it's a nice place.

Inexpensive, comfortable, great communication with the owner, perfect for trips where you just need a base between activ
Pros: Communication with the owner was exactly what was needed. There were issues out of his control with regards to access to the property but he did everything to make sure my stay wasn’t affected. Including communicating with other guests on site to ensure I had access at unsociable hours. I was on my own on a trip that didn’t require me to spend much time on the property. Just needed a bed and shower. The bed was comfy, the shower worked, it had a fridge and a kettle, and a tv with access to a fire stick. It was well heated by a smart radiator. Internet was inconsistent to start as the box is located in the main house a few metres from this building but after a couple of hours I had it working and had no further issues. It had everything I needed for a short stay. It wasn’t expensive and served its purpose comfortably. will definitely use it again for further trips down to Essex.
Cons: Blink and you’ll miss the entrance. It’s a country road entrance with a lot of car traffic so the fact that it is hidden by hedges until you’re right on top of it makes it hard to nail exactly when to indicate into it. If the gate is closed your car will still be half on the road while you get the fob to open it, or you’ll have to parallel next to it, so you’re either blocking traffic on a busy road or reversing back out to get in once it’s open. Awkward but just a consequence of the location, not management of the property. Just hope that the other guests in the main house behind the gate know how to park, because there isn’t much room for improvising once 3-4 cars are involved.

Great Price and Location with good size room
Pros: The host was on site to hand me the keys and show me how to secure the location. Friendly and great location, as it was less than 10 minutes from the event I needed to attend. Good size room, self contained, en suite. Also, it had parking on site. If in the area, will book again!
Cons: Tiny sink above the toilet, it made it hard to fill the kettle without spillage. Also, brushing ones teeth, means leaning in as close as possible, again to avoid making a mess. Needs mugs/cups for tea/coffee.

great stay for the price
Pros: lovely cosy summer house altough its on a busy road but its very quiet inside owner was helpful and easy to reach, check in and out is straightforward super cheap
Cons: hard to locate, had to ask around neighbours as the summer house is in someone's garden facing to their house (which felt bit weird in the beginning ) parking was ok but quite tight, thad to ask the owner/tenant to move their van away in order to squeeze our car in somehow. the bed is a small double and not too comfy for 2 people, one of us had to sleep on a sofa bed in the end could have a proper sink instead of the mini sink in the top of the toilet's water tank

Pros: Sunnyside is a very well thought out self contained accomodation. It completly beats staying in a hotel with it's very own outside space. Alex was a very helpful host & a very friendly man.

Amazing stay
Pros: I love that the room, its clean and comfortable and it always smells amazing when you open the door. The hosts are awesome people, hence why we came again! Our dogs are welcome, even though we only brought one this time.
Cons: Theres not shower mats in the bathroom, and the shower gets the floor quiet wet, and I just worry for the hosts that someone may get hurt one day as my partner slipped when h get in the shower after, because there was only two towels, and no bath mat for the floor. So maybe bring a couple of your own towels. But I love it here, and i will come back, again! Lol

Once located and inside the property it’s great, dog friendly and clean and good value for money
Pros: Lovely detached self contained unit in garden area of a house on edge of the village, fridge, kettle, toaster, tv , etc all inside. Great double bed and shower.
Cons: Initially it’s quite hard to locate the property. If coming from the west / SWF / Chelmsford area it’s on the left just before Maldon Road . It is not as Google Maps show on the right. It has a large electric sliding door that you need to get the control unit for, which is with the keys in a keysafe at the front of the property on the main road. Be careful, it’s a busy road.

Nice self contained accommodation for a short stay.
Pros: Self contained, very clean, reasonably priced and secure off road parking.
Cons: I’ve marked the property fairly and not taken into account the fact that I had 6 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs right outside my French doors, in the garden. It was very hot and of necessity the doors needed to be open. My evening was spoiled by barking dogs, at one stage the man in the group was even rolling around on the lawn with the excited dogs. Clearly they were having a good time together, but little thought was given to me. I do think that had I complained the situation would have gotten worse.
