A beautiful cottage in the quiet Suffolk countryside

Pros: The location was beautiful and the cottage was warm and comfortable and quiet. A very comfortable bed. The shower was roomy and easy to use. Good water pressure. The WiFi worked great after a few initial problems. The kitchen was well equipped. We particularly liked the pond and enormous Holly tree in the garden.

Cons: The cottage could benefit from a pathway being laid from the gate to the door. This was grass and as we went in the autumn , it was always wet. The large dining table and five chairs (including two unusable carvers that were wedged between table and window) were unnecessary as the unit only sleeps two. They could be exchanged for something smaller, making it easier to move about or create more space for a sofa perhaps.

Self contained beauty!

Pros: I loved this self contained beauty! I really enjoyed the view of the pond and the beautiful setting. The furnishings were really nice too. It is definitely in the heart of nature, a place to enjoy what wildlife in Suffolk has to offer!

Beautiful Cottage

Pros: Beautiful cottage. Lovely and warm when we arrived. Great to have a wood burning stove as well as the main heating as it made it super cosy on a dark dreary night. Good WiFi signal. Bed was incredibly comfortable and lovely soft, pristine white bedding. Probably the most comfortable and clean bed we've found in a holiday let. Very comfortable seating on two big armchairs. Loved the wet room, it was fabulous. Good powerful shower. Tastefully decorated throughout with lots of natural light. Nice seating space outside and pretty pond. Birds signing in the morning. Lots of walks and the forest literally opposite.

Cons: It would have been nice to have some wood for the fire for the first night. But we had bought our own. It would also have been thoughtful just to have a pint of milk in the fridge, although I know a lot of properties don't supply anything nowadays. There wasn't a baking tray, or anything similar. A silicone spatula would be useful. The mugs were dirty. It wasn't a stain as it was easily washed out. The towel rail in the bathroom only works if you turn the thermostat in the kitchen up incredibly high. The PAT testing is over a year out of date on all the electrical items. Many of the electrical sockets are loose. There were quite a few ants, but I did notice an ant trap, so they must be aware of an issue and hopefully it will be resolved.

A unique object with a soul!

Pros: Imagine a picturesque country cottage nestled in a stunning garden with a glistening lake. The focal point of the enchanting landscape is an exquisite sculpture gracefully positioned next to the water, adding an artistic touch to the already mesmerizing beauty of the garden. Just perfect!

Cons: Get ready for an extraordinary experience in a peaceful setting with a cosy atmosphere. Step into a beautifully adorned cottage offering ultimate comfort and luxury. We were absolutely delighted!

Lovely weekend in Aldeburgh

Pros: The cottage was unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances but we were relocated to another property in Aldeburgh. Communication was clear, and changes were managed easily replacement property was fantastic, a thoroughly wonderful weekend was had.

Cons: We didn't stay in this property in the end so cannot comment.
