Excellent food, great beer, comfortable room
Pros: The restaurant served Thai food, cooked by Jeremy's wife, and it was excellent. We had dinner there 3 consecutive evenings and enjoyed the choice and quality of the food. The spice levels were spot on, nothing too spicy, but enough to enhance the flavour of the food. The food came quickly from the kitchen which was a bonus.
Cons: Not a fan of showers in baths, but it did the job. Water did splash on the bathroom floor but it was easily dealt with.

Great overnight stay
Pros: The chap who runs it is lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are behind the pub and accessible via the car park, so very easy to get the bags in. Our room was fairly basic but had everything we needed and was a good size - it was a bit like staying in a friend's spare room :) Exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. The breakfast was great!
Cons: Nothing, it was all as expected. As the owner himself commented \

We had a wonderful time and the food at the pub was amazing
Pros: We stayed for 2 nights. It was a lovely charming building, near to where was visiting. The proprietor , Jeremy, meet me as I arrived and introduced himself. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, nothing was to any trouble for him. He gave us advice and help. We will be going back to stay at the premises again. Highly recommend.

Exceeded expectations and will certainly return
Pros: The whole experience was excellent. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The evening meal in the restaurant with an ingle nook fireplace with the fire lit was excellent. Thai food at its best. Quality excellent and decent size portions. Breakfast was enjoyale with eggs from the garden.

Lovely stay in a pub with character; great food and great people!
Pros: The staff were lovely and kind; we really enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them a bit. Breakfast was brilliant -- generous portions made to order. The business is a pub and restaurant with a few rooms so we thought it might be noisy, but the rooms are in a separate building and despite being there on a Friday and Saturday night, the pub/restaurant noise wasn't troublesome at all. We *loved* the food at the restaurant and ended up eating there every night of our stay -- there was a brilliant Thai vegetarian selection. The room was cheaper than many of the other rooms on offer in/near Cambridge, but the room had everything -- there were lovely details (like nice toiletries, tea/coffee, etc.), a full bath and a comfy bed. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so lovely!
Cons: The only tiny thing to note is that sound carried a bit from the adjoining room, so if you had noisy neighbours that could be a slight issue, but we had no problem whatsoever -- we slept well without interruption. There was next to no noise from the pub/restaurant; we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was during our stay.

Excellent location. Near the motorway and A14 for easy commute into Cambridge. Fantastic food.
Pros: Room was very clean and comfortable. Warm. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were great as well. Loved the real fires in both the bar area and the comfy room next to it.
Cons: WiFi wasn't available in the rooms only in the bar. That's fine in most cases but I was working remotely and needed to not have the distractions of a bar. Also, the television in the bedroom could've been larger.
