A good place to stay in Cambridgeshire

Pros: The barn is located in a very quiet area, surrounded by fields yet within walking distance of the village of Balsham. The house offers all the amenities you need to cook and enjoy a fully self-sufficient stay.

Cons: The path between the house and Balsham—about 150 yards—has no lighting at night, so please be careful if you walk into town in the evening. Make sure to bring a light source, as the walk can be dangerous due to passing cars.

Pros: Location. On edge of a village with lovely pubs, well kept grounds, with woodlands to walk in. Very clean and everything available for a lovely stay

Cons: Beds squeaking in twin room

Pros: Easy to find, parking for many cars, lovely terrace with an open fire and seating area, next to open land with walks

Great getaway stay for a family of 4 in a gorgeous cabin.

Pros: Perfect size for us and our two teenagers. Fully equipped in a great location and in a lovely setting.

Cons: A couple of little things, the tv wouldn’t connect to any app or streaming service which was okay for me but may not be ideal for a family or such. There aren’t any toiletries, which i presumed would be provided (maybe i presumed too much) The check in process is quite a head ache. Multiple emails and vague information about when you find out the access details made it an unnecessarily annoying process. Also any email sent took a few days to get a simple answer.

Pros: Verry nice, 20 minutes avay from Cambridge (with car). Beautifoul nature!

Cons: Twin room more suited for children than adults. Belongings from previous visitors still in drawers. Some flagstones on patio had worked loose.

Pros: the property was fantastic. house on its own is not huge, but the outdoor space makes you feel you are in much bigger house. it is very clean and amazingly equipped.

Cons: the only thing is that the village Balsham is really small and you can get only basic stuff in two local shops and very limited hours. the two pubs kitchens are closing at 8:30pm, so it is essential that you get stuff in a bigger supermarket which is about 20 min drive.

Cons: There are no blinds on the kitchen side. The sun was shining the morning we stayed but while sitting eating breakfast at the table the sun rises directly in front of you so the.sun shines straight in your eyes. Apart from thay lovely.
