Angel's (station accommodation)

Small but lovely

Pros: The communication from the host was excellent, both before arrival, on arrival, and with queries we had subsequently. angel was both prompt and helpful with replies. While small, the property makes really good use of the space and its a very sweet little apartment.

Cons: If anything, sometimes hard to find parking close to the property, but normally something available not too far on streets nearby - it's a facet of Cambridge rather than this property of course.

Perfect location, facilities and excellent hosts.

Pros: This place never fails to impress, perfect location, spotlessly clean and in the perfect location. The hosts are very thoughtful, keys easy to get and house perfect for a night away - so much better than any hotel in Cambridge.

Pros: Great location, even provided extra local recommendations and tips for events in the area

Pros: The lock box was loose could be made easier to open

Cons: Bathroom was too small but I appreciate it’s part of the refurbishing design and space constraints

Pros: The space is very cosy and homely. Check-in was very simple thanks to the host for clear communication. The accommodation in all honesty felt like a second home. I felt very safe and relaxed. I enjoyed the decor and facilities provided. The proximity to the train station was also very good which allowed me to access the rest of the city with no difficulty. Additionally the noise or lack thereof from the trains was excellent. I loved this place and would highly recommend it

Good value and location

Pros: Very good location as next door to a really nice pub but had no issue with noise. It has all the facilities we needed and was very comfortable.

Cons: Only issue was getting in and out of the bath as it is surrounded by walls and you have to climb over the tap end. But we knew that was the case and it didn't cause us much difficulty.

Pros: Cosy warm apartment, close walking distance from Cambridge train station, great communication. Comfortable bed. Lovely pub next door that served great food with a lovely atmosphere

Cons: Couldn't get netflix working although we had WiFi. But luckily there were some dvds so we played one of them instead which was enjoyable. We didn't want to bother Angel about it although I'm sure she would have helped

Was ideal for our short break, close to amenities and a short walk to the city centre.

Pros: Spotlessly clean with everything you need for a short stay. Attention to detail made check-in very easy and free parking on the street was a bonus.

Cons: Not much at all. Size might be an issue for some as it’s very compact.

Pros: Quite location and very handy to town. Apartment is well appointed and very tidy and perfect for a couples weekend away.

Pros: Ingeniously laid out for a small space. Nice location; good advice given about places to eat. Nicely decorated. Extremely clean. Clear instructions for gaining entry

Cons: It is small, and less agile or supple people might find it hard to climb into the bath which requires climbing over the toilet.
