Pros: The decor was beautiful and refurbished to a high standard whilst still retaining the cottage character

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage, well located in the centre of Clare. Everything was very clean and well provided. It was very hot this week but fans were even provided which helped

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. The back yard is very small but quite adequate for sitting out on the seats provided. It's so close to the country park that you don't need to go far for space

Pros: We had a wonderful stay in Almond Cottage - wish we could have stayed longer! Beautifully presented cottage with oodles of character and charm from the original features but with a tastefullly done renovation with all the modern amenties and appliances - the perfect balance! Immaculately clean and cosy home which is conveniently located in the centre of Clare. Really well equipped with everything you could need. Two double bedrooms which were perfect for 4 adults and 1 little one in a travel cot. Clear communication from the owner Sarah throughout, and she very kindly posted down a toy we accidentally left there! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Very pleasant stay at a lovely cottage in a picturesque town

Pros: Excellent cottage in a lovely location, beautiful walks around Clare. Cottage was very well decorated and very clean, everything you would need was provided. Sarah was very helpful and keen to ensure our experience was good

It was a great 2 day stay.

Pros: Incredible little cottage, fantastic value with everything we needed. Loved the lights outside and our only regret was that the weather didn’t allow us to sit in the courtyard. Ex-pat from Sudbury living in Canada. I come back every couple of years and next visit we will definitely stay longer at this great little gem.

Pros: The location was excellent, in the centre of the small town, with everything walkable from the cottage, including several eating places. The cottage itself was very comfortable and extremely well appointed.

Gorgeous period cottage

Pros: The whole cottage was utterly delightful. The kitchen had all amenities that we could wish for and was beautifully decorated, as was the whole property. The information folder was extensive and well thought out. It was a great help thank you.

Cons: A couple of things to consider; the rug in front of the sofa was very slippy, and we had to keep repositioning it. The only other thing we would suggest, is a little sign near the stairs, reminding people to take their shoes off before going upstairs. It is stated in the information folder, but I suspect some people may not read it and leave their shoes on when on the carpet, which would be a shame.

Excellent from booking to check out. No questions we would stay here again

Pros: It was immaculate and very sympathetically modernised

Cons: Parking would have been nice but the owners cannot control that

Visit was to catch up with friends, we had a lovely time and the cottage was perfect

Pros: Very homely and comfortable property in a good location.

Warm, welcoming& had everything we needed.

Pros: Great location, beautifully decorated & very clean. There were lots of thoughtful touches provided such as cleaning items in kitchen, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Will recommend.
