Great stay, good value

Pros: Lovely shower and comfy bed, warm, good range of kitchen facilities and nice decor in a character property. Good communication from Rob, very accommodating.

Cons: No fresh milk, outer door step difficult to see in the dark (needs a white line edging), downstairs toilet, steep steps to bedrooms

Cozy cottage

Pros: Fully equipped with everything you might possibly need, good beds and kitchen, comfy sofa. Cute, quirky cottage.

Cons: No problems, the road was busier than expected, but not a problem.

Visiting family friends and just chilling out with our friends and family

Good location

Pros: The owner Rob is extremely pleasant and helpful. The cottage was easy to access with the key safe. The location was great for Diss and Bury St Edmunds. The village was lovely with a nice grocery shop and fish and chip shop. The local pub was friendly too. The kitchen in the cottage was well fitted and the shower was good.

Cons: The description did not mention that there were steep stairs and that the toilet was downstairs. My 81 year old friend needed to get up several times during the night and struggled with the stairs. She ended up sleeping downstairs the last few nights which she said was not as comfortable as the bed. The whole property could do with a little makeover as it has a lot of potential. The parking is listed as on site but it is not. You have to park on the road but that was not too much of a problem.

Myrtle Cottage

Pros: Quirky and full of character. Lovely period cottage.

Cons: Small and awkward to use staircase to first floor. I wonder if an additional barrier should be fitted at the top to stop people accidentally falling down it from the first floor.
