A magical and healing space.
Pros: It was much more quaint and beautiful than I was expecting. Beautiful and interesting lamps everywhere . clever lighting. Lovely old brick floor in entrance hall. Light and airy kitchen with dining table. cosy beds. We all loved the old beams, crystals and the wizard! I think that magnolia will be spectacular in a few weeks! The garden had interesting features such as a summer house and the spring . shame the zip wire wasnt set up!! ( but it was january!)
Cons: Our only criticism was that the shower was quite pokey and we wondered if you could put a bigger one in one of the small downstairs rooms which we didnt really use. We liked the bath. The log fire was very difficult. The wood was quite damp ( kindling fine) and it smoked the whole room out and we had to open the windows. It seemed that the chimney wasnt drawing very well and dog grates are difficult for log fires. Wood fires do best on a bed of ash and that had all been tidied away! We lit the wood burner in the end and that worked fine once we got the wood going.

Pros: We loved the garden. Having small children, it was lovely for them to just run around and play football, also the tree swing and tree house was a bonus. The cottage is small and cosy. The beds are amazing and comfortable we all slept fantastic.
Cons: No kids cups. My son accidentally smashed a glass as he wasn't used to drinking from glass, but Lorraine reassured me it was okay, and these things happen when I messaged her to let her know.

I highly recommend this beautiful cottage ❤️
Pros: The cottage is very beautiful it shows it has been highly cared for , so much love and care has gone into this cottage, I loved waking up every morning with my coffee looking out the windows at the beautiful scenery of the garden, even the garden is cared for amazingly. The kids played in the garden which was amazing to see running around and playing hide and seek. Sitting by the fire at night warming up all nice and cozy.watching movies. I love all the different lamps around the house which I believe Lorraine makes so I will be now looking into some for my home too as they are very unique and stylish. Lorraine has also been amazing, if I had any questions Lorraine would answer quickly. I will definitely be booking again soon, as I felt very welcomed and relaxed and didn't want to leave.
Cons: I didn't like going home I was too comfortable

Great property
Pros: Great house for a weekend stay. Facilities were perfect. Walking distance to local pubs and shop. Surroundings are beautiful. Well equipped and clean. Good communication with owner!
Cons: Shower in only one bathroom. Not a huge issue but the other bathroom could benefit from this!

Pros: Needed somewhere local to stay while I was having my kitchen replaced. Beautiful cottage, with a stunning garden. Bedrooms were of a good size. There were two staircases, one leading up to 1 bedroom with an en-suite, the other (original part of the cottage) lead up to the other 4 bedrooms. My son is 6ft 3 and he struggled a little with the height of the ceilings so he stayed in the room that had the newer staircase leading to it, but even so, he really enjoyed himself. The property is really well maintained and was a pleasure staying there. Would definitely recommend if you wanted to get away from it all and be in the countryside - garden backs on to farmland.

A perfect, beautiful place to chill and unwind with friends
Pros: The property was absolutely beautiful. The garden - so pretty and the perfect place for us to relax with a wine in the sun. Lovely open plan kitchen diner, great for socialising. Every room was very clean and we all commented on how comfortable the beds were and the sheets were so soft. Lovely big towel too!! A prefect property for our group of mums looking to unwind, drink and eat! A shot walk to a lovely pub with great food.
Cons: We loved the property, nothing we didn’t like. Could maybe benefit from a shower in the other bathroom.

A beautiful quirky old cottage.
Pros: Very quirky old cottage, beautifully styled. We loved the garden and the beautiful art pieces that were dotted about inside and out. The bedding, all the towels and kitchen were all very good quality.
Cons: We are a tall family, so we found the low ceiling and door frames quite a challenge (ouch). We did miss somewhere to hang our long dresses and suits. The cottage features were such an insight into it's long history though.

Pros: The cottage was spacious, well furnished and clean, and perfect for our weekend away. Lorraine was very responsive to any queries we had and check-in / check-out was smooth.
Cons: Taller members of our group found the headroom in the shower tight, but that comes with their height and the age of the cottage!
