Lovely place to stay - and very appropriate - whilst working in Harwich

Pros: The wonderfully curated record (vinyl) and dvd collection

All is all, very pleasurable.

Pros: Very nice and spacious, clean, comfy beds and the property gave us the possibility of having a bedroom each with my wife.

Cons: One small issue, a little milk and some teabags would have been welcome...

Cons: There was a lot of dust. The cleaner had cleaned around things. Full of dust under the bed , on the bathroom shelves, and the cutlery draw was dirty. For the price, the standard of cutlery should have been better.

Pros: We were staying Harwich for a few days either side of a family funeral and the location and relaxed ambience provided a perfect retreat. The courtyard was lovely with the jasmine in full flower. The hosts recommendations for eating out were excellent, especially the Alma Pub.

Pros: Beautifully and artistically appointed, everything worked, it was cosy once I figured out how to switch the CH on. Fantastic location and even managed to park right opposite during Shanty Fest weekend (though we got there early).

Cons: Nothing of any real consequence, or at least once I found the instructions, hence the 10 rating. The heating was off when we arrived and it took me a while to find the control (right next to the boiler) and as another reviewer mentions, the TV defeated us for a while, but once we found the folder for the house (on the bookshelf) we got it working fine. It would be better to leave the instructions folder on the coffee table perhaps.

Pros: Absolutely loved our stay at this unique amazing property. So homely and comfortable. Will definitely be going back.

Fabulous and Packed with Personal Touches

Pros: The facilities, everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more. Kitchen very well equipped. We loved the personal touch of art, books and a record collection to enjoy.

Cons: The street outside had the occasional speeding, noisey car which woke me up.
