Great weekend away with my sisters in a comfortable and welcoming cottage.

Pros: Ideally placed in the middle of Long Melford, 3 Chestnut Terrace is a cosy, well equipped and furnished cottage. Beautifully clean and the generous welcome basket was very much enjoyed and appreciated.

Cons: The two armchairs, in the living room, were not very comfortable. You could neither recline nor sit comfortably in them. The shower on the first floor seemed rather temperamental - the temperature control didn’t seem to work. Also, instructions re the waste bins and what to do before leaving were not in the property file.

Stay over Christmas and it like walking back in time, with houses and shops decorated for Christmas.

Pros: Perfect location in the heart of Long Melford, ideal for exploring the area with wonderful array of traditional shops and pubs. Great for those who enjoy the countryside with lovely walks by the river.

Good for a short break in picturesque Suffolk

Pros: Convenient location in the beautiful village of Long Melford. The property is truly dog-friendly, and the treats (and all important poop bags!) were really appreciated. Strong water pressure in both showers. Very comfortable beds, and the bed linen was of good quality.

Cons: Bathrooms would have benefited from a more rigorous clean.

Pros: This house has everything you need. Its clean, tidy and spacious, perfect for 4 people. Its in a great location, right in the middle of the main street. Noise wasnt a problem. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable stay in a comfortable cottage with all the amenities we required.

Pros: Very central, beds extremely comfortable, decor was designed with style

Cons: small thing - would be nice to have some outside cushions for the chairs as the weather was so good!

Fantastic house for group of 4

Pros: Located near the wedding venue. Has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, perfect for 4 persons. Fully equipped house, not just kitchen. Sad to leave after 2 nights
