The Tower

A great place to stay in Maldon, highly recommended.

Pros: A lovely, well equipped, very cosy little property situated right in the centre of the town. Really close to multiple restaurants, pubs and shops.

Cons: The only negative was the parking which is in a public car park. However the car park is only about three minutes walk away so it’s not really a big deal.

Excellent place to stay. Everything I needed was within walking distance.

Pros: Location was excellent and the facilities were good. The owner was really responsive and helpful.

Cons: If you have issues with stairs this may not be the property for you. I think 2 people both with large suitcases may struggle because there is not a lot of storage.

Pros: Right in the heart of town. With parking just a cross the road.

Cons: When you’re in bed and need to use the loo. The bedroom is on the top floor and the bathroom is on the ground floor and the building has 3 floors. But it’s not a big building so it’s not that’s bad.

Pros: Centrally located, luxurious touches throughout! The bed was insanely comfortable... A definite 10 ⭐

A sublime stack: The Tower hits the heights!

Pros: Like Spinal Tap, I wish there was an option that allowed a score of 11 to be given - across the board. The Tower was simply stunning, just a wonderful place to stay, my only wish would have been that I had had less already organised around the area so I could have spent more time at the house and the local surroundings. I used a LOT of Booking locations but this was stand out the best yet

Cons: NOTHING

Cosy little house with elegant decor

Pros: The sofa and bed are comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen are modern. All of the appliances worked well, including the oven, stove, heating, and washing machine. A car is not necessary -- you can take the 75 bus to and from Colchester or the 31 bus to and from Chelmsford. You can find more information by searching Travel Essex. Hatfield Peverel is a beautiful bike ride as long as you take the back roads. The house features nice flooring and warm, quality lighting. The coffee table that opens up into a desk is brilliant. All in all, I'd recommend this house. It's a great location within walking distance from the quay and river.

Cons: The house lets in a lot of outside sound, which did not make for the most pleasant of stays. As of 25th November 2024, the construction project next door appeared to be far from completion.

Pros: Great communication from booking until arrival. Great location. Is exactly as advertised.

Cons: There was nothing to be unhappy with!

Peace and perfection

Pros: Everything was just perfect the accommodation the extra touches just perfect no negatives at all

Cons: Nothing all perfect

Very pleasant stay in a unique historic tiny tower

Pros: Very charming interior in a unique historic building. Centrally located in a backyard. Good and clear communication with a very friendly host. Free parking in close distance and option to use your own streaming accounts on the TV.

Cons: No air-condition. The backyard area around the tower is a bit unclean.
