North Cottage

Pros: The cottage was just beautiful, it was very well equipped, comfortable and cosy!

Pros: Nice touch leaving complimentary arrival cookies and apple juice. The garden was nice with sunny spot to sit.

Cons: Not enough toilet roll provided for 3 people staying 2 nights. We had to buy our own toilet paper, this was a bit inconvenient on such a short stay. There were some spiders in the bathroom above the shower. This was a shame as otherwise the cottage was very clean. The owner arrived in the morning about 1030 even though we had paid for a 1200 late check out. He was polite but said he hadn’t been told of the late check out which wasn’t great.

Pros: We stayed here for my sons wedding at Woodhall Manor - which is just down the road. It's a lovely cottage, in a lovely location. The small garden is really cute with a variety of seating. There is a small shop along the road with a footpath beside it, which takes you on a walk through the fields to the beach (takes about 30 mins) I would definitely stay here again

Cons: The low doorways are a downside for tall people but to be expected in an older property. It wasn't an issue for us, but the front door does open out on to the main road.

Beautiful nook in a lovely village

Pros: It's a beautiful, quaint cottage and sympathetically decorated but also modern. Although compact, it ticks all the boxes for a pleasant stay. Lovely quality of crockery etc.

Cons: The steps and low ceiling from the master bedroom are a disadvantage if you need to use the bathroom in the night. Phone signal in Alderton can be patchy but the WiFi is good and you can use that as an alternative if necessary.

A lovely little house.

Pros: Very clean and everything we needed as a base to explore Suffolk.

Cons: It is very small, particularly the door heights. Garden so overgrown that it was unusable.

Pros: Quiet location with access to local towns and nature areas.

Cons: Low doorways.

Pros: Super clean, clear instructions and information in the welcome book. Very comfy beds. Love the welcome package particularly the biscuits and apple juice. Overall would highly recommend. Also enjoyed a visit to the local pub - people very friendly

Cons: Not a lot of space for dining but didnt really impact us

Pros: The cottage was lovely, clean, comfortable as described. Unfortunately the kitchen floor was constantly freezing as there is no form of heating either underfloor or otherwise. Also the garden needs some TLC.

A Comfy Cosy Cottage

Pros: The cottage is located in a quiet street and is very cosy. It has everything you need for a stay in the country. We had good contact with the owner and found everything we needed in the property.

Pros: Well appointed kitchen. Bedrooms comfy but note they are upstairs.
