Manor Of Groves Hotel

Very Pleasant enjoyable stay

Pros: The other guest were very friendly. Steam room was great All areas was very clean. Rooms were very nice, plenty of hot water and heating Enjoyed a hot bath

Cons: The jacuzzi could have been better, it works but wasn't that great. The first day breakfast was okay, but next day breakfast was very good.

Most romantic Setting

Pros: We had the best room in the manor house, so comfortable and cosy beautiful bed and even with the extras paid for they went the extra mile to present it all perfectly

Cons: No hot water in the shower but gave us a complimentary breakfast to make up for it as stated we had the best room already so couldnt move to anywhere near as regal.

Review of manor of groves hotel

Pros: The building, areas, rooms and lounges were stunning

Cons: The only one bad thing I can give is a review was when we arrived for our second stay here the card activation machine was down, and we were stuck to get into the spa for around 5 minutes and the control for the jacuzzi was off the wall - unintentional unsure but did look like it was snapped from somewhere - but honestly not a big issue.

Great fur the money

Pros: Staff at the desk were great and upgraded us and very good stay and breakfast

Cons: Could do with a bit of maintenance Around the hotel and swimming pool

Lovely peaceful and relaxing

Pros: Lovely hotel, nice pool, nice staff and food was very good , steak was divine!

Cons: Couldn't get meal on first night of arrival as we came to order at 8.45 but was told chef had hone home, disappointing as id asked when we first arrived about dining times and was told 9 pm food finished.

We enjoyed the hotel facilities and the staff were lovely.

Pros: I enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal. There was plenty to eat. Staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable.

Cons: The lunch choice was disappointing. The burger and bun was uneaten, so waste of money.

Cons: The door key card was not working, so each time we had to ask reception to open the door for us.

All good especially the food and access to pool.

Pros: The building, location, all the staff (apart from one.) I ate in the restaurant every night and was never let down, exceptional chefs, food and staff 10/10.

Cons: As said all staff were very welcoming, accommodating and seemed glad to see me on one of my many return visits. That said there was an Asian looking manager (short with glasses) who with time seemed to take joy in making my stays as awkward as possible. Not sure how he got to the position he is in, in-fact hospitality I would say is not his vocation.

Nice place - few improvements recommended.

Pros: Leisure facilities were good and dinner was great.

Cons: Breakfast was mediocre. No porridge option and fried eggs were over cooked.
