Overall a lovely inn and very well restored and presented. If you are attending a wedding at the golf club it is ideally

Pros: Great room and lovely new bathroom. I requested a bath which was provided. Room had new top quality carpet recently fitted.

Cons: Breakfast was only rated as okay. I had a full English. I didn’t like the sausage…far too meaty and firm. I like milky coffee so requested hot milk and although supplied just a very small amount given. Also no prepared fresh fruit.

Lovely, comfy stay.

Pros: Room was lovely and had enough space for us all. Plenty of towels, hot water and lovely bedding. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Billericay area.

Cons: Maybe conditioner in the shower but really that's a tiny thing.

A good little find in Stock!

Pros: Polite and helpful staff. Tasty food. Good standard of cleanliness.

Cons: Our room was a small double and very comfortable. The bathroom towel rail was on all the time which made the room too hot for us to sleep comfortably throughout the night. It might however suit others.

Lovely room, great bed, excellent breakfast.

Pros: Very nice room; large, comfortable bed, good shower. Excellent breakfast and evening meal.

Cons: The photos on Booking.com are a bit misleading - the rooms are very nice but most of them are pretty standard rather than the amazing ones shown.
