Stylish City-Centre Stay

Cosy, clean and quiet even though it is so central.

Pros: Very beautiful apartment in an absolutely prime location in the city, close to everything. Excellent layout, allowing someone to sleep comfortably in the bedroom while others can move around easily in the living room. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Don’t be put off by the exterior of the building (yes, it is old) — the apartment itself is superb. I will definitely choose this apartment again over a hotel next time. Thank you very much!

Convenient cosy effective overnight in Chelmsford

Pros: Everything is nice inside the apartment. Very effective heating.

Cons: The entrance is down a shady alley.

Great location, great stay

Pros: The location was perfect, in the city center of Chelmsford, easy to walk to all the surrounding restaurants and bars. Easy to gain access to the building with a lift to the 3rd floor. The accommodation was well equipped with everything you need, very clean with a comfortable double bed.

Cons: The only down side is there is a goods entrance located opposite so I was woken from 4:30am with reversing beeps from numerous lorry deliveries. This could be easily cured if earplugs were provided.

Pros: “Amazing little find in the heart of everything! The location is perfect — walking distance to everything you could need. The place was lovely, cosy, and had everything we needed. The host was so accommodating and made our stay perfect. We absolutely loved it and will definitely book again!”

Cons: “The front door to the main building didn’t lock, so it felt a little insecure as it could be opened from outside — especially since we were a group of girls. However, our apartment door locked properly, so it wasn’t a major issue. There’s no parking on-site, which we expected, and the nearest car park is only about a 3-minute walk away, though it does cost an arm and a leg! We didn’t attempt to use the lift as it’s an older style, so we carried all our luggage up the stairs. It wasn’t a problem for us as we’re young and fit, but it could be a challenge for older couples or anyone with a buggy.”

Pros: Very nicely decorated, clean and good facilities. Location is very central to everything and great value for money
