Great apartment near the sea will come again, fab host

Pros: Everything we needed for our weekend stay we had tea coffee and sugar left for us few toiletries and cleaning products a washing machine and dish washer was appreciated,comfy beds,hot shower, tv that worked although the OK button was hard almost impossible to use maybe a new remote is needed? we were able to use the other buttons so it wasnt the batteries we were out all day so it was only later on in the evening that we even turned the telly on so didnt bother us too much.The apartment was clean,the host was quick to get back to any queries and we were a minute from the pier and sea. Parking and a small garden for my puppy which was a bonus.

Cons: Nothing to do with the host at all but another guest was either smoking burning toast or both as at 04.40 the fire alarm went off i thought it was a car alarm until my adult daughter ran in and sed mum get up get the dog the fire alarms going off and i can smell smoke from flat 1 we were 2 floor and 2 flights of stairs up so we ( my 2 daughters) myself and 12 week old puppy grabbed jumpers put shoes on n ran down into the car park not knowing if there was a fire as i smelt burnt toast didnt want to bother the fire brigade if it was burnt toast so we knocked on flat 1 a man in shorts answered quite rudely said yes everythings ok n shut the door no sorry that ive woke you all up at 04.40. Absolutely not the hosts fault but we were so shattered after spending all day and evening in hospital with my mentallly ill sister who had also broke her ankle that we just wanted a good nights sleep before driving back to Cornwall very selfish of the other guest but it couldve happened anywhere out of the hosts control.

Awesome apartment in an excellent location.

Pros: The Greyfriars apartment was excellent overall. Superb bedrooms with lovely comfortable beds and the living room had a really nice big sofa. Immaculately clean all round with two bathrooms and a great shower. The location was perfect for us — a one-minute walk to the seafront and only about five mins to the town centre. Our hosts were fantastic — the communication excellent. They even organised a sunny day for us.

Cons: There were a lot of stairs! That is not so much a complaint about the property as my own fitness! Other than that, I had no complaints at all.

Pros: I had a wonderful time in Clacton on sea in this lovely and clean apartment, bright and airy a spacious bathroom with a nice large bath tub and seperate powerful shower nice big rooms with comfortable beds for my bad back. A friendly place for my pets with a lovely enclosed garden which my dogs enjoyed running around in. It has everything I needed for a self catering break away with my fur babies its close to the pier; you can see it from the apartment, with lots to do if you have kids and a nice sandy beach for my dogs to play. I recommend this apartment for its comfort style and location

Lovely apartment.

Pros: Lovely apartment an easy 10 minutes walking distance from the station. It was close to the pier and to the shops. The apartment itself was well decorated and comfortable. In fact, I have never had such a good nights sleep!

Cons: There was an issue with the heating but it was resolved and the place was nice and toasty.

Pros: The place was absolutely lovely. We had all the necessities we needed throughout our stay. It was comfortable, clean, and the sea view from the windows was our favourite part. The reception was very good, even though we arrived late at night. Everything was in order. Mark’s instructions were fantastic and made getting into the property very easy. We highly recommend this place a million times over, and we would definitely come back again. For both the property and customer service, I would give a solid 10 out of 10.

Great flat, great location

Pros: Great location. The flat was clean & warm. Apartment 1 on the ground floor had easy access to the garden for our dog.

Cons: 5pm is a very late check-in time.

Relaxing, comfortable, enjoyable

Pros: Well appointed apartment with everything you need. The apartment is ideally located near to the beach and town centre so you don’t need to use the car. The ability to park at the apartment is an added bonus.
