The Hive - beautiful studio with amazing hot tub

Perfect peaceful getaway

Pros: The property is fantastic for a quiet break. We enjoyed watching tv in front of the log burner, sitting on the balcony listening to the birds and watching squirrels and a few hours in the evenings in the hot tub, surrounded by trees and enjoying how peaceful the whole weekend was. A one hour walk to a local pub, sounds like a long way, but again because the local area is so nice, it didn't feel like a long hike to get there or back. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves over two days, from breakfast and evening meals (we brought our own food and drink) The bathroom and shower is lovely, and the heated towel rail and mirror that doesn't fog up are nice touches. Marcus our host was great and supplied us with all the information we needed by sending us a welcome pack in advance and answering questions on Whatsapp. We will definitely stay again in 2025

A perfect getaway!

Pros: The location was beautiful. The apartment was very clean and had everything one needed. The bed was very comfortable and the view was amazing. The hot tub was perfect and the host made sure it was ready for us on arrival. The host was extremely attentive and we will be back.

The perfect unique getaway

Pros: Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and only a WhatsApp message away if we have any queries. They left us a little food/drink package in the fridge with fresh bread and a bottle of bubbly. The hive itself was spotless. Clean and fresh with little homely features. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud - so comfortable! Everything was explained in detail in the welcome pack which is emailed across and also in the Hive. The hot tub was an excellent touch to the whole experience. We would highly recommend to all of our family and friends and can't wait to return in the near future.

Cons: Nothing - absolutely outstanding!

Pros: We had an amazing stay. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and easy to communicate with. The grounds were absolutely fantastic; spralling and peaceful. The accomodation itself is really special and the hot tub was brilliant. Can highly recommend.

Pros: Self catering accommodation but hosts put welcome pack of milk, butter, jam, coffee, eggs in refrigerator and some lovely bread on bread board.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Serenity studio stay

Pros: Hosts were exceptionally welcoming, and exceedingly helpful. The studio has a fresh airy ambiance, surrounded by natures beauty, free of noise and disturbance. The warmth from the orange flickering flames of the wood burner soon warmed us up after an evening spent in the hot tub, strategically placed beneath the open sky, giving a sense of peace, with dimmed lights, and warm gentle bubbles soothing the body. You will be sure to curl up and have a deep sleep as you sink into the satisfyingly snug bed.

Cons: I honestly cannot fault the Hive.

Relaxing, romantic, peaceful and fun!

Pros: Private and well appointed …the owners were so genuinely nice and helpful. They said we could make as much noise as we wanted … not that we’re rowdy … but they made us feel really comfortable and were incredibly helpful when we requested a few things. The wood burning hot tub worked a treat…. this is a very quiet and peaceful place … in beautiful nature. Highly recommended!

Cons: All the boxes were ticked.
