Pros: John was very knowledgeable of the local area. Pointing us to lovely pub with amazing food. The attention to detail was first class. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility this is the place for you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing stay!

Pros: We had an incredible stay at the water shack for new years Eve. John met us there and was really friendly and gave us good advice for local walks. The shack was amazing so incredibly made by John, really warm and cosy in minus degrees! It was so peaceful and quiet there but still really close to a few towns with pubs and shops. Can't wait to go back and stay in summer and experience it in warm weather too!

Space to relax

Pros: The Shack is beautifully constructed by shipbuilder John, who was there to welcome us on arrival. He'd even left us a bottle of prosecco and some milk in the fridge. The outdoor bath was perfect, loads nicer than a hot tub, and the double hammock was just the thing for stargazing. Well equipped and so warm. The eco aircon works like a dream. Nice location for exploring.

Cons: ... can't think of anything I didn't like

Suffolk Stay

Pros: John has done an incredible job with the space. We loved the serenity of the water shack as well as the fun and quirky decor. Every detail had been thought of and we couldn't have wished for a better stay. Fantastically located to see all the main Suffolk sights but we were always keen to get back to the shack! Outdoor bath was a great touch. Very idyllic. Can't wait to come back already.

Pros: Everything! The location and accommodation was superb! John the owner was so welcoming, showing us around the hut and grounds. A very clever man with his skills for building and his eye for detail, the hut is one of a kind. Will definitely go back!

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Pros: The environment was beautiful and loved the quirky touches ! Great recommendations of nearby Framlingham and Woodbridge we spent one day each here. Specifically loved the mentioned Indian restaurant which was great value on a Monday
