Cosy comfy cottage

Pros: The bed was sooo comfy We didn't want to leave it The views from the widows are stunning

Cons: Squeaky floorboards and slippery mats which could be a safety hazard The keybox was very tricky glad they had put the key in the door for us

Escape

Pros: Seemingly in the middle of nowhere - the last property on the little road, this is part of a farmyard with stables next to the river and along a farm track. It has beautiful views and is very quiet. Our cocker spaniel adored walking for miles along the river path, it was great to let her off the lead and watch her explore. Also lovely to lie in bed and view the stars above. Nice strong shower. Host was brilliant - there if we needed help but not hovering - and supplied milk, eggs, butter and bread as well as tea and coffee. I'm pretty sure the eggs were home grown!

Cons: No oven but soon worked out air fryer and microwave so no problem.

Best short stay and I've already booked again.

Pros: Sally was lovely and welcoming. The lodge is beautiful warm clean and cosy. The area is so peaceful its just what i needed. It really was a perfect stay

Pros: The host Sally, left bread and butter, preserves, milk, eggs tea and coffee for us. The location is delightful and quiet. The Lodge was clean, well kept and comfortable.

Pros: Beautiful location with a fantastic walk along the river which my dogs loved. Comfy, clean and beautiful inside. The bed was so comfy! Hosts were lovely and welcoming. Close to Ely, Mildenhall and Lakenheath which was perfect for us. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic property in a lovely location.

Pros: Very nicely appointed. Self contained. Separate from the main house. Very private with lovely views.
