Booked a night away from home and truly relax with a long hot soak in a long deep bath, pure luxury. Peaceful location.

Affordable, clean, comfortable little hidden gem in Halstead

Pros: Very clean and comfortable room. Quiet location in a cul de sac. Lovely decor inside and the bathroom in the hallway was very clean and stocked with products to use if you needed them. I arrived very late and the owner had left instructions for me to get in. Didn’t see the owner but had a brief stay overnight - highly recommend this lovely place and very affordable. Parking on the drive was a bonus too. Many thanks for a peaceful stay.

Lovely room

Pros: Rachael is a fantastic and friendly helpful host. Gave me information regarding walks in the area and where to eat. The room and bathroom were spotless. The room was well equipped, table, TV, wardrobe, honesty snack box, toiletries, teas, coffee, and milks. Short walk into Halstead to shops and bars.Key to the property. The bathroom is adjacent to the room via a short hallway, so take nightwear. Not a contradiction by any means, just a heads up. The property is on a quiet estate. Well worth the money, thank you Rachael x

Cons: It's not a dislike, but I'm used to a harder mattress , that's just my personal preference and didn't prevent a good night sleep.

Pros: I loved the very friendly welcome. I also liked that everything I needed available.

Cons: Possibly the size of the bath towels. I prefer the bigger size so I can be completely wrapped in because I get dry faster but I was grateful there were towels available.
