Pros: A very comfortable room with good facilities. Quiet location, with a lovely view from balcony doors.

Cons: No complaints, would definately return if we visit the area again.

Lovely room, wonderful view, good breakfast.

Pros: The property was lovely, very clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was great with a view over the garden and countryside. The beds were very comfortable and the shower large with plenty of shower gel/shampoo, etc. Had a big breakfast with lots of choice.

Cons: Can’t think of anything.

Just fantastic, we will be going back .

Pros: The Full English Breakfast was very nice, just right, even down to the fantastic tea cups. Very good location just off the road with ample parking, our room was very very nice and not to hot in the very hot heat wave. Handy for Long Melford, Lavenham, Sudbury, Finchingfield and close to Bury St Edmunds and Colchester .

Cons: Possibly may have been handy to have a grab rail just inside the lovely big shower.

Very good

Pros: Claire and her husband are lovely people who made us welcome. Couldn't fault the accommodation. Breakfast was excellent and the best English breakfast the best I have ever had. Location was perfect for visiting the special places in the area. Had a great time.

I would highly recommend Newmans Lodge.

Pros: My family and I found the accommodation very comfortable and Claire provided a very warm welcome into her lovely home. The breakfast and was very nice and there was a good variety of things to choose from. Newmans Lodge is the perfect location for visiting Lavenham, bury St Edmunds, Kentwell hall, Melford hall and Ickworth house.
