The Three Pickerels

My stay was short but very enjoyable.

Pros: Clean and modern facilities. All my needs were catered for.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, excellent food

Cons: Too warm in the room for us.

Pros: Beautiful location, well designed room and bathroom, powerful shower, good food including breakfast made to order, kind staff

Cons: Bed rather soft

Pros: Great room with a nice view over the river. We had dinner with a couple of bottle of nice NZ wine. Food was of excellent quality. Brilliant breakfast for a tenner, we couldnt eat it all !

Cons: British winter and wet days not ideal for the walk outside to get to the bar and resturant, we took a brolly, so ok, but a covered walkway would be good

Pros: We had a great stay at the Three Pickerels - a lovely riverside setting, all smartly refurbished. Quiet and comfortable, friendly attentive staff.

Nice quiet retreat

Pros: The place looks well looked after. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There was a very welcoming young man when we arrived and he showed us to the room I had booked which said river view but once’s in the room it was more the car park. He very kindly changed the room for us. The food was very delicious.

Cons: The shower in our room needs looking at as not much water came out from the head other than that no issues.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with generous portions. Breakfast was the same. The cost of all the meals was very reasonable and very good value. The room was cozy, warm and comfortable with a view over the river and surrounding countryside. It was quiet and peaceful. We loved the little light in the bathroom that came on in the night when you opened the door.

Cons: The pillows were flat and did not match the luxury of the very comfortable bed. A plug socket next to the mirror would have been helpful.
