Quiet and convenient

Pros: The staff was helpful and kind over the phone.. I was able to reach them quickly when I arrived and they helped me sort things out. The place was very quiet and the bedding clean and comfortable.

Cons: In the bathroom, the fixtures were quite shabby and dusty. I would have liked to find a mug and cutlery available for guest use

Pros: Extremely neat and clean. Very cosy room. Great location: a quiet almost suburban type but some 20 minutes leisure walking from Cambridge centre (15 minutes brisk walking). Or 5 minutes by bus. The staff is competent and helpful. Great value for the money. When I go to Cambridge once more I will first look for the Lantern house for sure.

Pros: The proximity to Cambridge was great. There was a bus nearby and it was within walking distance, if you like. The staff was very helpful. One of the best parts was the ability to use the washer and dryer on-site.

Cons: I was on the ground floor and left the window cracked for air. At 1 a.m. I woke up smelling cigarette smoke in my room. It seems that someone was smoking just outside and it came into my window.

It was really great for a newbie like me to stay in this lovely place where everything was self guided and hassle free

If you are looking for a comfy place to stay at good value for money then this is the place to stay.

Pros: Very good value for money. Location was within walking distance to the city centre. Good communication via email regarding check in

Great value for money, hassle-free check-in and out, and good location for anywhere in Cambridge.

Pros: Walking distance to the centre of town, great price, lived up to all the expectations set in the advertisement.

Cons: Bathrooms & showers could do with renovating. They were clean enough but didn't feel very modern.

It deserve the cost. We extend our stay for 2 more days
