Great cottage in the centre of beautiful Aldeburgh

Pros: Cosy cottage in a good location Very well equipped

Cons: The staircase may be tricky for some as it is very narrow and steep The shower attachment wouldn’t sit properly in the bracket

It’s a brilliant location and we enjoyed our stay

Cons: The bed was very small It’s a double bed and we are used to a king I dropped an earring and looking for it found the carpet behind the bedside table was very dirty The frying pan needs replacement. It’s definitely not non stick The area in front of the cottage needs maintenance, it’s messy and full of weeds

A delightful cottage in an excellent location

Pros: The location is excellent and the cottage is a delight. It was warm and welcoming. The property is excellently serviced and the kitchen has everything you could need. Beds are comfortable and it was very quiet. Aldeburgh is a beautiful town and we enjoyed some lovely walks along the coast and around the nature reserve. The phone and internet were down when we arrived but the agents fixed that very quickly, even on Christmas Eve!

Cons: Nothing major. Be prepared that parking is difficult nearby so moving luggage is difficult. The stairs are very narrow but that’s part if the charm.

Very comfortable, well located, well furnished property in very good position in the lovely town.

Pros: Breakfast was self-catered which was fine. Good kitchen and dining area. Location was very central and there was a nice outdoor space to sit and enjoy good weather in. The property was well furnished and comfortable. I slept very well and found it a thoroughly relaxing stay in a lovely area (close to beach for walks and lots of good places to eat out in nearby).

Pros: Great location, very private but right in the middle of lovely Aldeburgh.

Cons: The only thing I could mention was that there were lots of spiders that we had to dispose of when we arrived. The staircase is very small but this is part of the charm :)

Great stay, right in the middle of Aldeburgh on the high street.

Pros: Had everything you needed, very close to co-op. Property was decorated to a good standard.

Cons: No real gripes, apart from being 6 foot, hit my head a few times on the low door frames. But no real problem.

Highly recommended.

Pros: Great central location. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our short stay.

Cons: Nothing really major. If you are looking for a property with a view this isn’t it, however we knew that beforehand. No allocated parking but again we knew this beforehand and easily parked on crag path.

Pros: Great location, comfy, heating worked well, lovely sheltered place to sit in the sun

Cons: Nothing, everything was good!
