Wonderful Cottage.

Pros: The cottage is exceptional. Warm, inviting and exactly what we needed. Well equipped. What made it especially welcoming was the lack of strict instructions about what you can and can't do. Polite notices where needed was enough... it's refreshing, and meant we felt we could use it as our own during our short stay, but respectfully and with care. Nice addition of a welcome pack. The local pub was a wonderful discovery and the welcome we received there means we will be coming back. Just a note: Get logs from the local shops in Southwold... they are much cheaper than Budgens.

Great location, cottage has lots of character.

Pros: Good location for visiting the places we wanted to visit. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable without compromising the historical value of the property.

Cons: The bathroom was a long way from the bedroom! However the cottage is 17th century, and a little compromise is to be expected to maintain the integrity of the property.

a beautiful old cottage, elegantly restored, but low ceilings & downstairs bathroom

Pros: An ancient cottage, beautifully restored and nicely decorated - comfortable beds and a good location in the middle of the lovely village of Bramfield close to the excellent Queen's Head pub

Cons: For anyone above 5 and a half feet, watch out for the low door lintels. And the bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are narrow and steep, so not ideal in the middle of the night. Also a lot of noise from the main road from about 7am.
