We were attending a party nearby and needed overnight accommodation. It was lovely

Pros: The room was lovely. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were welcoming and attentive

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like

Brilliant stay, nice friendly staff

Pros: Clean, tidy and well presented, nice rooms in a quiet location. Warm all night

Charming Place to Stay

Pros: Friendly staff, spacious, well furnished, comfortable room, decent cooked breakfast included. Also had an enjoyable dinner with work colleagues and a bit of time in the bar by myself.

Cons: Nothing not to like. Place is full of charm and character

Lovely stay, lovely area.

Pros: Had a fabulous 2 night stay. Shepherd's hut was cosy and homely beautiful views. Gorgeous local walking trails.. Food in the pub was outstanding and very competitively priced. The staff were attentive and professional. Didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.

Cons: Very minor points. the logs were too big for the hot tub so took a long time to get it up to temperature. Probably be fine in the warmer months. Maybe an additional question of guests check in times and use of hot tub could have the fire started before arrival? Happy to pay a little more.There is nothing to cook on in the hut so worth noting. A small hot place would be a good addition for those late night munches and fresh milk in the fridge. Nothing to stop us returning.

Our usual place to stay in the area when visiting family

Pros: Pub is lovely, ample parking and the room quiet and cosy.

Cons: The bathroom is now looking rather tired with the grouting looking dirty and the showerhead needs a good clean. It wouldn’t stop us staying again but think the owners need to just look over the bathrooms. Otherwise all good and clean.

Pros: We had a wonderful, albeit brief stay in one of the huts at The White Horse Inn. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the food at the restaurant truly surpassed our expectations. The hut itself was immaculate, cosy, and incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub outside was the highlight of our evening. We were so pleased with our stay that we’ve already booked it again for the Christmas holiday.

Cons: The lights in the bathroom and outside the hut could be a bit brighter

Pros: We stayed in shepherd’s hut we absolutely loved it and definitely book again we had breakfast and dinner in the main pub area. The food is exceptional. The hot tub was amazing and relaxing just what we needed.

Cons: No faults

Pros: Beautiful cosy Inn set in pretty grounds , the accommodation was much larger than expected and very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were wonderful . The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for you , outstanding customer service.
