Beautiful, relaxing, cosy cottage - fab break away

Pros: Unreal property - everything was clean, the cottage is absolutely stunning, everything was as described and more - we had an amazing time, thank you to the owners xx

Cons: Nothing - we are going to go back!

Beautiful place to stay

Pros: Hot tub was a nice big one. The garden is lovely. Everything you need is there.

Cons: Shower in ground floor ensuite has a problem

A hidden treasure in Suffolk countryside

Pros: The cottage is beautiful and comfortable in a lovely location, easily accessible. The hot tub and sauna are fantastic addition to the comfort, as is the garden space. Inside, the cottage has plenty of room to relax with an interesting choice of books and games, and many issues of the Suffolk magazine which we loved reading. The cottage has all the amenities that a person could need.

Cons: The waterfall shower heads were not working, as well as the upstairs shower wasn't heating up properly when we stayed. Apart from that, everything was great.

Lovely cottage, nice facilities

Pros: Comfy beds, stylish bathrooms. Hot tub and sauna great.

Cons: Sofas were a bit grubby and blankets on them smelled like damp dog and had pet hair on.

A nice break

Pros: The sauna and hot tub were the main reason for booking a night away to just relax, these did not disappoint

Cons: Some basic utensils were missing from the kitchen like a peeler and some of the cooking dishes were slightly cracked so didn't use them, not a big thing but we like to home cook. A few cobwebs around the place but overall fairly clean and very comfy. The instruction book was out of date so couldn't find the heating controls on arrival but got the fire lit instead and kept that burning

Pros: Overall a nice stay, great communication from hosts and prompt return of deposit.

A beautiful, relaxing retreat with a very welcome jacuzzi.

Pros: The house is gorgeous! Beautiful old rooms but with a large modern kitchen and downstairs ensuite room. The showers were great. The beds were incredibly comfortable and there was everything we needed in the kitchen (apart from the bin drawer opening!) Fabulous jacuzzi was just what we needed after long drives from London. Lovely countryside to explore; we went to Southwold for the day, which was beautiful.

Cons: It's not very clear online exactly where the property is. Satnav takes you a few houses up (Oak cottage if I remember rightly), so I thought we were backing onto fields. The house is actually surrounded by others, though all screened, which gives a different feeling. Parking is on the road with just a small sign showing the house numbers; the house can't be seen from the road. I advise others to put the address in, not use the Boking link! What3words might be a better way of locating it? The cupboard with the bins in, in the kitchen wouldn't open, so we improvised, and the garden cushions must have got damp at some point and needed brushing down. The storage for them in the garden had perhaps been left open previously? Not a big deal, but we felt it let down the otherwise perfect provisions. We couldn't get onto the wifi. Again, it didn't really matter for us, but might for others.

Lovely and relaxing

Pros: The location was lovely and peaceful. We wanted a short break to chill out and relax and that is exactly what we got. The cottage was lovely.

Cons: The garden needed a bit of tidying up although appreciate the weather prior to our stay may have prevented this. The cushions for the garden furniture were unusable as they were filthy. The garden furniture which is left outside would also benefit from being covered as the table had bird poo over it and a cover would obviously prevent this.

Good location, peaceful, relaxation with an excellent selection of local pubs serving good quality food.

Pros: The hot tub was amazing! It was unbelievably peaceful in the garden listening to the birds singing. Beautiful house, loved our stay there.

Cons: It had everything we wanted, what’s not to like?
