Pros: The cottage is very spacious, immaculately appointed and very comfortable with a lovely garden and outside dining area. It has every mod con and amenity you could possibly want and is really tastefully furnished. It was spotless throughout. The village is lovely - loads of Tudor timber framed cottages and a church containing some impressive tombs. A short drive to Flatford Mill and Dedham, the heart of Constable country and not too far from Lavenham, Long Melford, Colchester, Woodbridge etc... all great for a day out. The hosts left a generous hamper of goodies. And they have compiled an 87 page guide to the house, local area, pubs, restaurants, local walks and places to visit, which is remarkably comprehensive.
Cons: Front bedroom is a little noisy as on the road and not double-glazed. Struggled to even close the window as the lock doesn't fully work. Parking space is very narrow so I only used it once then parked on road outside. The guide has everything in it except how to work the hob (which isn't hard but took me 10 mins to figure out). Toaster is a little basic and the microwave an older model- but that's being very picky. Be aware that driving to and from the village at night can be a little challenging if you're not used to narrow country lanes at night! One of the local pubs has quite a limited menu and was pretty expensive so we didn't eat there.

Prefect stay, we will be back as my son lives in the village
Pros: Fantastic village and immaculate property. Very tasteful decorated. Very, very clean. It was ideal
Cons: Little bit of traffic noise, but nothing detracted from the lovely cottage

Perfect stay in a beautiful house!
Pros: It has everything you could need, it’s comfortable, clean and in a wonderful location. One of the best we have stayed in if not the best! Would definitely recommend and we will be back!
Cons: There is nothing to dislike!

Pros: Really welcoming hosts, beautiful cottage. We went for 5 days and felt completely relaxed. Felt spoilt. Beautiful area, lots to do. Had everything we needed. Great local pubs and well stocked village shop.
Cons: A bit more storage upstairs might be a good idea but for the length of stay we were there it was absolutely fine.
