Pros: Location was perfect with the town centre only a short walk away. We loved the walk along the river with our doggies. The cottage was modern and very well equipped

Cons: forklift trucks were active very early from the Jewson's yard across the road The wonky floors upstairs took some getting used to but it all added to the cottages character and charm

Pros: Our host Michael went out of his way to make sure our stay was excellent, even ensuring we could check in early. All in all, it's a lovely place.

Beautiful quirky cottage for idilic village stay.

Pros: Such a cute cottage! Amazingly decorated, extremely clean, very quirky and comfortable. The stairs are very steep, takes a little getting used to but not a problem. Michael (owner) was so helpful and attentive.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Curlew Cottage. It was very comfortable and well equipped. The location was great near to shops and restaurants. Also close to the many interesting places in the area.Especially Sutton Hoo and the lovely estuary footpath.

Quirky cottage minutes away from Woodbridge and a great base from which to explore Suffolk.

Pros: Location, cleanliness and quirkiness of the steep stairs and sloping bedroom floor. The steep stairs are not for the faint hearted and gave a literal meaning to \

Cons: Roman Blinds. Difficult to open and close and kept settling at an angle, although host did let us know that there was a problem with them.

Perfect location and so comfortable.

Pros: So cosy and private yet close to everything in town. Perfect balance for a first-time visitor to England, as easy access to all amenities on foot. The cottage itself is beautiful and comfortable, and really well appointed.

Pros: Great central location, so easy access to shops, amenities, and the river area. It was a very clean property, which was cleverly designed and equipped.

Cons: The TV really did not work effectively (as per other reviews), but we weren't really there to watch television.

A memorably beautiful, tiny cottage, impeccably decorated.

Pros: I liked the location at the top of the thoroughfare. It was opposite a builder's yard but in a quiet lane, and I was not troubled by noise. I really appreciate the exquisite decor: a tasteful, appropriate mix of ancient and modern, Real attention to detail. Cosy and ideal for one.

Cons: The television was a minor vexation: not easy to operate. However, I was there essentially for rest and retreat, so that was a reminder!
