Pros: Great space to share some quality time together and just hang out. Used the games room, and mezzanine. Well equipped kitchen for cooking in. Lovely place, dog friendly. Middle of nowhere, which is what we wanted.

Perfect family getaway

Pros: We loved our stay at the Barn. We had everything we could possibly need and more. Lovely bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival was such a lovely touch 🙂 Beautiful rooms and we had non stop fun in the games room! Perfect place for a family getaway 👍

A little piece of heaven. Can’t wait to return.

Pros: Absolutely everything. An exceptional property in an exceptional location. David was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble, every little detail thought of. So kind to let us check out later on our last day. Even better than the photos. A lovely touch to fly the Essex flag for us too! Huge thanks. Highly recommend.

Pros: Great barn conversion 😊 3 bedrooms all with own bathrooms, great for us as we were working in the area, the house had everything we needed, and there's a games room too! Lovely quiet area. Really lovely, accommodating hosts.

Pros: The location is fabulous if you're looking for a remote country stay. A large variety of games and activities are available at the property. It has a lovely, very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and luxurious linen and towels provided. The accommodation is light and airy, with all modern commodities, although it retains the original historic barn feel to it. David and Kate were great hosts and couldn't do more to help us feel welcome.

Excellent, relaxing, fun family time.

Pros: Everything had been thought of, lots of information about the area, it had everything you need for all the family, the games room and snug were fab somewhere our daughter would go for some quiet time. All the books, DVDs CDs and board games along with all the outdoor games were just amazing, as was the games room the extra fridge freezer & laundry, drying & ironing facilities. The host was helpful & responsive, really friendly & approachable but also left you to your holiday. The barn is fabulous
