Pros: Jo was a great hostess. Great communication and everything catered for. Even fresh milk for tea. Above and beyond what I expected.

A relaxed and pleasant stay.

Pros: The peace and quiet allowing us to be private. However, there was a room next door which was unoccupied which made it feel even more private. We appreciated the communication prior to arrival as Jo's response was immediate using her mobile phone number. The room was very pleasant and snacks were laid on along with a little fridge to keep the milk cold for a selection of tea and coffee. However we turned the fridge off overnight as it was a little noisy. The decor was such that it made it easy to relax and in all our stay was like that of a home from home. 10/10

Cons: The booking.com site must have been at fault here as I tried to communicate via the booking emails and there was no response. However, i texted the number given and had an immediate response. There wasn't anything that we didn't like otherwise.

Pros: The owner met us at the door with a warm welcome and a smile. Room was beautifully dressed, comfortable and quiet. Lots of little details that tell you the owner really cares about her guests. The bathroom too was spotlessly clean and beautifully prepared. No breakfast is provided but a lovely \

A lovely weekend break

Pros: We had a lovely weekend staying here. 3 adults sharing two spacious rooms on the first floor of this home, with private bathroom shared between the two rooms. Very clean and lots of nice little touches like milk in the fridge on arrival and some much needed snacks after a long drive. Definitely recommend this home away from home...quiet and cozy at night and only a short drive to the hustle and bustle of the seafront.

Pros: Jo was so accomodating. .She could not do more to make us feel welcome. Very pleasant surroundings The room we had at the front of house was beautifully kept with tea and coffee making facilities . jo even went that extra mile when I left somthing behind . I will definitely stay again when returning to Essex .

We had a lovely overnight stay, Jo was lovely and room was spotless. Would defo stay again.
