This period property has been a coaching inn since the 18th Century, and is located in a richly historical area of rural Norfolk. The Bedingfeld Arms has been restored with stylish interiors and bright en suite rooms. The inn is located opposite Oxburgh Hall National Trust site, and within a 10-minute drive of the reconstructed Iceni Village in Cockley Cley. Each of the 10 pet friendly rooms feature high quality furniture, luxurious pocket sprung mattresses, a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. Very good overnight stay. Sure to return.

Pros: Staff were great, very welcoming and friendly. The location is beautiful and wonderfully peaceful. Breakfast was amazing, just a shame I had other plans for the evening as I'm sure the evening meals are also superb. Room was functional and perfectly adequate.

Pros: Lovely hotel, excellent professional yet friendly staff working tirelessly for the benefit of the guest Very dog friendly

Cons: Only one thing, the chef repeatedly got our breakfast order wrong, however the staff could not have done more to help resolve the problems faced, which is why we maintain our high opinion of tge establishment

Quiet, comfortable and great breakfast.

Pros: Great location for visiting family close by and just a short drive into Swaffham. Lovely open fire in the lounge bar and wonderful breakfast the following morning. We stayed in the main building (have previously stayed in the converted stable block which was also lovely - but a little noisy at the time) and it was quiet and very comfortable. Will be back to stay for the next visit.
