The Hideaway

Lovely short break.

Pros: Cosy and very comfortable flat. We immediately felt at home and of course it is situated opposite one of our favourite restaurants (the lighthouse). Situated right on the high street and yards from the seafront. Would definately return.

Cons: Parking restrictions means moving the car from time to time but not really a problem for us.

Cons: cushions in living room and couch covers need updating cob webs on ceilings mold smell in 2nd bedroom cupboard not owners fault but music and very loud front door from downstairs business in the day time

Pros: Clean, comfortable and well equipped. In a great position to enjoy all that aldeburgh has to offer.

Had a great time walking on the beach and visiting local places of interest

Pros: I liked the central location in the town. I liked the convenient layout of the flat. The view from the bay window was good

Cons: I thought the mattresses were not very comfortable. There was not enough space to store food which did not need to be in the fridge. There were no spare blankets

Pros: The property is completely as shown and described and very nice!

Wonderful Bank Holiday stay close to everything

Pros: Fantastic location. Very clean. Comfortable. Perfect for a long weekend

Cons: Having to move car around but it worked fine.

We enjoyed the Hideaway! It was bijoux, but perfect for our little family.

Pros: Beds were really comfy and location was great - so close to the seafront. The entrance hall was great as the weather was not brilliant when we went, so we could leave wet things in the hall and then keep the upstairs clean and tidy! Heating was easy to use when it got cold and wet at one evening.

Cons: Drying capability of washer dryer wasn't great, and I think the hosts forgot to leave any spare toilet roll, but we left some and some tissues for the next guests!

A dreamy few days in Aldeburgh

Pros: From top to bottom, this was a very enjoyable stay. For such a superb location right on the Aldeburgh High St, the property was surprisingly spacious and quiet. I had a couple of arts events to attend in the Jubilee Hall, and it was such a pleasure to simply roll out from my comfortable quarters and walk over to that venue. Every thing was so tidy and well-equipped, I'm hoping no one reads this review. I want this property to be available whenever I come to Suffolk! :) Seriously, the Hideway is now a top destination for me. Thanks!
