Very enjoyable

Pros: Friendly welcome, comfy rooms with plenty of space, all essentials in kitchen and milk in fridge for cups of tea.

Cons: My only comment is that it was quite cold in the evening and the heating wasn't on ... it had been on earlier in the day but would have appreciated a bit of warmth in the evening

Good location and good value for money

Pros: It was clean and had a welcome pack, including milk and butter. There was also tea sugar coffee in the kitchen. The lighting was also good. Sometimes you get terrible lighting in some of these places.

Cons: Possibly the location of the TV is a little bit high when you are watching from the sofa or sofa bed. Does give you a bit of a stiff neck.

Pros: Great position for my work event, lovely place in a lovely village, all we wanted and needed.

Good location as a base to explore the area

Pros: Good location to visit the surrounding area including Bury St Edmunds, Ickworth estate, Long Melford and Lavenham. Jackie was welcoming and explained how the pull out sofa worked which was definitely the most comfortable I’ve slept on. Pub just down the road which looked lovely on the village green.

Cons: Took a bit of getting used to with the shower in the bedroom but managed it fine and also the toilet being away from the shower. Also felt that the property needed a bit of TLC around the outside entrance area and also in some areas inside

Lovely quiet area

Pros: Everything you could possibly need is provided from toiletries, pantry items, milk, etc. It’s compact but cosy with its own private entrance. We dined in a cafe recommended in the information provided by the owner. If the location suits you you can’t go wrong.

Cons: I hadn’t realised the shower is actually in the bedroom which is a little unusual. The rooms are at the front immediately on to the driveway/ main entrance so it seems a little exposed in the bedroom showering/dressing when trying to have some natural light get in the vertical blinds. But to be honest we didn’t see many comings or going so it’s only a small thing.

The perfect stay in lovely accommodation in a quiet village.

Pros: Very convenient for ourselves. Comfortable, quite spacious with every appliance you could ask for. Jackie anticipated all our needs and more. The Welcome pack was above and beyond our expectations. A very generous thought.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.
