Nice central location for exploring the Suffolk Coast

Pros: Cosy,clean and nicely appointed. The owners were friendly and helpful.

Great place, great hosts. We would stay again but we were both not keen on soft mattresses.

We absolutely recommend this. Our host and hostess were very helpful and attentive and provided a first rate breakfast.

Pros: Very well located for getting to and from several great locations on the Suffolk coast e.g. Aldeburgh, Southwold, Thorpeness etc.

Cons: It was very nice but during a heatwave it was a little warm and stuffy. This was minimised by the supply of an air conditioner.

A beautiful room to stay in lovely Leiston

Pros: The Garden room is beautifully designed and arranged with everything a couple will need for a stay in Leiston for a few nights. The room is very comfortable and clean and the shower room is excellent. We really appreciated the lovely touches of the biscuits and tea tray as well as how accommodating Alastair and Ruth are for breakfast. We really enjoyed our lovely stay in Leiston and meeting you both, we hope to be back next Summer for a relaxing trip to your lovely part of the country.

We couldn’t have asked for more…

Pros: A great base for attending a weekend festival. The room was comfortable and exactly as expected, with complete freedom to come and go as we wanted. Alastair and Ruth are charming and engaging hosts who were genuinely interested in ensuring we had what we needed for an enjoyable stay. Alastair’s breakfasts, served in their kitchen, were tailored to our preferences. For those with EVs, there are 4 CCS rapid chargers at the local co-op and another 8 CCS chargers a few miles down the road just off the A12.

A wonderful unexpected find

Pros: Wonderful hosts; great breakfast and the use of the garden for sitting in. Very well equipped room. Off street parking.

Cons: Struggling to think of anything.

Pros: We liked the fact that The Garden Room was near both The Maltings for concerts and Aldeburgh a lovely coastal resort where we were due to meet up with friends. We had the use of the hosts’ garden and sole use of fridge in the garage.Both husband and wife hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable, Welcoming and Tasty Breakfast.

Pros: This is separate accommodation in the garden of the Owners property and Breakfast is served in the Owners Kitchen. We have stayed here before and this was our third time back.
