Argyll House Bed and Breakfast

Clean and comfortable B&B

Pros: We enjoyed our two-night stay at Argyll House, which is conveniently located for RSPB Minsmere. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the freshly cooked two-course breakfast and the local apple juice. Lots of good dining options nearby too. We'd definitely stay again.

Cons: Only a tiny criticism, but it would have been nice to have fresh milk available for tea and coffee in our room.

Pros: Quiet location but close to the Suffolk coastline with all its attractions.

Nice quiet place to stay for visitng the local area

Pros: Lovely house which Oliver & Kate have lovingly converted. Kingfisher room on the ground floor as very nice with bath and shower. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Breakfast was fantastic with a great choice, you choose the night before and is served betwen 7 and 9. Had the full English one day and Eggs Benedict another. All excellent and served on very attractice Villeroy & Boch crockery. Westleton is a lovely quiet village with a pub for evening meal and a great central place to visit Southwold, Dunwich Bay (which has a lovely cafe and free parking) and Walberswick. Highly recommend.

Pros: Great location, great breakfast, lovely house. The single room was small but comfortable

Cons: Single room was quite small. It was also south facing so very warm in the hot weather.. and the supplied fan was not strong enough to make much of a difference

Great B&B in lovely village location!

Pros: The owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful and the room we had sizeable and well appointed. Good ensuite facilities. Quiet location.

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like.

Pros: Hosts were very welcoming. Our room was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was ideal for coastal towns, beaches and RSPB Minsmere.

Pros: Delicious breakfasts tailored to our needs. Kind and attentive hosts. Wonderful location - so close to nature and wild walks. Close to the sea and good restaurants. Quiet. Spacious room and bathroom. Good secure Wifi.

Cons: It was all excellent - nothing we didn't like.

Pros: The breakfast was good . General information on hand was good. Location ideal for many places.

Cons: It would have been helpful; to have a suitcase holder (suitcase had to go on floor); blinds were nice but they do not cut out all the light; room service e.g. emptying of bins would have been appreciated. Signs on floor and wall re the removal of shoes was a little negative as soon as you stepped into the premises. We were not told about the marmalade etc table on the first morning.

Pros: This was an exceptional stay with friendly, attentive hosts. Room exceeded expectations as was better than appeared in the photos. Very comfortable bed. Will definitely stay here again.
