The White Barn near Cambridge

Fabulous barn in a beautiful village

Pros: The White Barn is a perfect place to stay. It is warm, cosy, very clean and with everything there to make a lovely stay. Its close to St Ives and Godmanchester which were nice places to visit and walk around. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful village where the barn is situated, with its village green, little bridges over streams and just purely a calm and peaceful place.

Very acceptable and convenient base for us while visiting family. We are most likely to re-book.

Pros: Ideal location for us. Warm and comfortable accommodation, all basic facilities provided. Really comfy bed and pillows, plenty of hot water.

Cons: Had to always check that loo had flushed properly.

Pros: self contained all you could possibly need nice little court yard safe for dogs . pub and shop close by

An excellent place to stay, close to Cambridge and Ely as well as other interesting towns.

Pros: It looks out on a lovely garden and the accommodation was just what we needed. It was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed staying there.

Cons: Beware there is no dropped kerb outside the parking area. We forgot the first couple of times but otherwise it was excellent..

Amazing stay with an amazing host

Pros: Absolutely fantastic little barn. It was very light and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the terrace was beautiful. Bed was lovely and had a big bathroom. The location was perfect for us, easy to get into cambridge. Claire is the best and most accomodating host we have ever had. We booked for next year while we were there, this will be our go-to accommodation every time we visit the area which is usually annually :)

Cons: Nothing we didn't like.

Home from home. Would recommend and stay again.

Pros: Easy parking. Friendly hosts. All amenities you could need for self catering. Perfect enclosed courtyard if staying with your dog.

Pros: Self contained with good cooking facilities. Small garden for outside dining. And the host was happy for me to bring 2 little dogs, I thank you. Very comfy bed!

Cons: On a noisy busy road. No milk to make a tea on arrival. Think the host should know the bath plug didn’t hold water, so my water disappeared!

A perfect location and base for us as a couple to use while visiting family.

Pros: Perfect location for our purpose...to visit family in nearby Godmanchester Quiet location and clean and comfortable. Well-equipped....with bonus of a small patio garden.
