Heritage Grange at Thurston

Heritage Grange at Thurston, Hotel, an attractive Tudor-style country house hotel, lies in Thurston in the heart of Suffolk. The hotel is set in its own secluded gardens amidst open countryside. Guests can dine in the restaurant, which offers a la carte delicious fresh food, catering for all dietary requirements such as gluten free and dairy free or, as an alternative, enjoy the bar lounge meals. The lounge bar opens onto the terrace and garden and offers local beers, spirits and wines. Guests can relax in the seating area in the lounge. Under the current circumstances, we are offering a bed and breakfast service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hence the bar and restaurant will be closed on those days. The bar will remain open on a Saturday subject to demand until 9.30pm. Restaurant is open Monday to Thursday for dinner from 18.30 - 20.30, subject to demand. The restaurant and bar is still open on Monday – Thursday and Saturday evenings. The restaurant is open for breakfast on a daily basis.

Lovely hotel and location will stay there again

Pros: Evening meal was exceptional and great value for money

Cons: Scramble eggs were not great full English a lot better. Could have more choice on the menu, such as a continental option, or omelette.

Great stay bed & breakfast excellent.

Pros: Breakfast & dinner were very good value for money & tasted great.The room was small but very clean.The facilities were good.

Quiet, peaceful, spacious, a little dated, but comfy and good value.

Pros: Quiet, spacious room, friendly helpful staff, nice food in the restaurant. Old fashioned and quirky.

Cons: The WiFi didn’t work in my room. I used the comfy bar to work. The staff offered me a conference area to use but I was happy where I was.

Very well kept cozy stay

Pros: The room was well presented for us as a family with 2 beds - very nice and clean with a tv (if required). The breakfast was very well cooked and tasted superb. The grilled tomatoes were excellent.

Cons: It was fine for me but the sloey ceiling in my room might cause problems for a tall person!

Best log cabins we have stayed

Pros: The food was really very tasty, both dinner and breakfast. Staff was polite and considerate. The best part was there were many vegetarian options available and the property being so ancient still been maintained very well. We loved the log cabins sizing and the outside view 😍

Cons: I couldn't pinpoint anything.
