Nyton Hotel

Comfortable stay in a homely guest house.

Pros: Cleanliness was excellent. Linen/towels of very good quality. All of which made for a comfortable stay. We had evening meal and breakfast. Both were home cooked and very good. The breakfast had good choice with cereals, fruit and yoghurts as well as selection of cooked meals. The full English was a substantial plate which set you up for the day!

Cons: The lighting in the car park is poor The whole building, although very 1920’s stylish , could do with a bit of maintenance

Pros: Great location very close to centre of Ely with free parking. A lovely old house, with lots of charm.

Pros: Evening meal and breakfast were excellent, as was the location. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and allowed us to park the car before check-in.

This was probably our favourite night in a 6 week holiday.

Pros: A great host, an open fire to enjoy on a cold night, warm rooms with comfortable beds, everything was clean , a great breakfast and all in a guesthouse full of character. Perfect.

Cons: A little dated but had charm. The hot breakfast was nice but rather sparse with the one of everything approach, not what I had hoped for after a night out.

It's got charm

Pros: Easy to find, lots of parking free on site. This hotel has charm, looks like it hasn't been decorated in decades but it's a pleasant environment. Some of the features in the room are a bit tired to say the least but the bedroomwas clean and comfy, check in/ check out was seamless no receptionist present but the keys were left out for you to collect. The breakfast was fine, nothing fancy. Nothing to complain about really. If you want modern accommodation then this place isn't for you, if you're happy with an old fashioned environment and don't set your expectations too high then you'll be alright here.

Pros: Lovely building. Liked the dining room. Clean, functional and secure room. Very responsive staff

Cons: more attention to detail - phone and remote control in room dusty and hair in soapdish ! Not TINNED tomatoes for breakfast (most Guest Houses have FRESH ones) and proper fresh fruit (still defrosting in bowl!) Get rid of artificial flowers (dust gathering and not attractive)

A great pre-Christmas stay

Pros: A lovely traditional B&B with comfortable rooms, friendly staff and very good breakfast. Appreciated that it was dog-friendly.
