Perfect for simple ‘sleep and go’ scenarios

Pros: Big spacious room and en-suite. Plenty of room for four adults and luggage. Spare supplies (e.g. biscuits, iron, etc) in the landing.

Cons: Looking a bit tired, now. But that’s being picky!

Pros: The location is perfect for exploring London and the surrounding area. It's also close to Stansted Airport and the Epping tube terminus. It's a wonderful place to unwind after a long day of exploring London. Des makes every guest feel welcome. With his friendly and intimate approach, he makes your stay truly memorable. We especially recommend using the garden, especially for morning coffee.

Pros: The host made our stay pleasurable and memorable, we felt as if we had known him for years.Ww had a small room but with the beautiful views it somehow felt larger

Pros: We were travelling to Epping booked by our daughter Stacey to attend a funeral and the position of the hotel and the fact that we could come and go as we pleased was greatly appreciated.

Cons: We were very satisfied with the accommodation being ideal for our requirements. See above we can offer nothing further

The room wasn't large but the view was lovely and the room was clean the owner was great too

Pros: We didn't have the full breakfast just the continental but we wer tould to help our selves . Which was great for us

Cons: Every thing was good there we enjoyed the stay there and the beds wer the most comfortable we have slept in in any hotel

A good choice for an overnight stay.

Pros: Our host Des was very pleasant and welcoming and the bed very comfortable. Great to have proper blackout blinds too.

Cons: We would have liked some healthier breakfast options (a couple of herbal tea choices, some natural yoghurt, fresh fruit etc)

Warm and friendly stay at Elmcroft

Pros: Des was an absolutely lovely host and went over and above to make me feel welcome. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Comfortable room, beautiful surroundings and a nice breakfast with decent coffee.
