Pros: Large clean room with comfortable beds. Nice host and very reasonably priced. Will be staying here again when visiting Colchester.

Pros: Aug 6th 2025. Duke has just moved into this house. At the time of writing, he is working very hard to set the house up. He is really friendly and helpful. Basically, you are renting a room in his new home. The room and bed, and bathroom were clean and there are new carpets throughout upstairs. I'm not sure if it is Duke's intention to give guests access to the kitchen (and the small garden at the back), but he was happy for us to use it during our one night stay, which we appreciated. It was very good value for what we paid. Easy parking. Quiet street.

Cons: I couldn't stay more than one night and help him get the new wardrobe upstairs the next day.!!
