We came to support family during day, so this was a great find to stay and explore Brightlingsea too

Pros: It was very comfortable, very clean, and so quiet. It was central to everything, we could come an go as we pleased and host was Very helpful. We would definately stay again.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. It was all as described when I booked. Location was great.

Pleasurable, wish we had more time to stay a couple more days.

Pros: Our room was clean and comfy with the added bonus of a cosy courtyard . Will use again when we need to.

Cons: Had a little trouble gaining access, but all ok after that.

really comfortable mattress and spacious room

Pros: Never used the pub , the room was spacious, and clean .

Cons: The main door I struggled to unlock , whilst inside I locked the door and was unable to unlock it, my partner eventually managed to get out .not enough coffee sachets , only one without suger .

Ideally placed for my purposes with no criticism at all

Pros: Very tidy room at the back of a public house. Very quiet and close to local facilities. Very friendly staff. Fresh milk in the fridge for early morning tea!

Great place to stay

Pros: Well equipped, spacious, very clean. Close to the pubs/restaurants shops and only a short walk to the river front. Perfect for an overnight stay to facilitate coastal walking in the area.
