Pros: Husband and wife team are excellent hosts , we had a lovely meal , swapped stories and had a few laughs. The perfect people for the job. Room was warm, comfortable, clean, with a great shower , a coffee maker , bottled water. By day the view is of the docks across the estuary, by night the same view is a mass of twinkling white lights , couldn’t stop looking it was so pretty . Great stop off on our walk of the Stour way. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Lovely clean,modern room with glass doors leading to a balcony overlooking Felixstowe Port and Harwich and Shotely Marina...in heaven

Cons: Earlier food options would have been good as 10am breakfast is a bit late and cuts in to the day

Pros: Location good lovely looking out over the port area from our wonderful balcony Absolutely loved the shower it was powerful and hot The room was spotless Didnot eat at the bar but had a good menu.

Cons: Air conditioning the fan was ok but still had to have windows open which was very noisy with noise from the port. All night

Pros: Close to the marina, ideal for staying before an early morning boat trip. Good sized room, clean, fairly modern

Perfect for visiting friends in Shotley.

Pros: Lovely location overlooking Felixstowe and Harwich. My girlfriend and I took the train to Harwich Town and then it was a short walk to get the ferry to Shotley. Excellent way to get there. Breakfast is not included, but they open for breakfast in the clubhouse at the same time as check-out. We used the accommodation as an affordable option for the Ed Sheeran concert at Portman Rd, Ipswich. Worked out very well.

Cons: No air-con available, but large French window.

Pros: The location is lovely, the room was clean and had everything you would need and our hosts were very friendly.

Cons: The little green light denoting fire exit was bright enough to light the room at night. But eye patches would have alleviated this.

Pros: The staff, location, restaurant/bar & accommodation all excellent. Clean, relaxing, peaceful, nice atmosphere, will definitely book again.

Cons: Absolutely nothing not to like.
