Comfortable rooms upstairs at number 8

Affordable and as comfortable as the name suggests

Pros: I like the friendliness and 'down home' location of this house (this was my third stay), the wi-fi was good enough for me to watch Scotland's win over Denmark (and I am glad I didn't miss that.) There are supplies in the room and on top of the fridge on the landing, it's great to have the use of the fridge by the way) and the shower is very warm once it has run for a few seconds.

Cons: Nothing wrong that I can think of.

Pros: Simple, quiet, clean, comfortable, and residential host a bonus. Cannot be beaten anywhere in Newmarket area for value!

Cons: At the price there is nothing to dislike!

A nice place to stay at a good price.

Pros: Alison looks after you and cares about how her guests feel, this was my second stay here and I enjoy the homestay feel of the place, the affordability and the sense of ease in the place.

Cons: There was nothing wrong, I knew what to expect and the place hasn't changed from a few months ago.

Best value around, for your pound!!

Pros: Alison the host, very helpful and accommodating. Lovely village,nice, friendly people,who I found also eager to help. Room simple, basic, clean, comfortable, tremendous value for money!!

Cons: I was travelling via public transport and found the bus service poor, but I managed.

Great location, comfortable room and superfast wifi

Pros: Alison welcomed me with a very warm and friendly reception. She was both great company and made me feel very comfortable. Additionally, the refreshments were excellent.

Cons: It was OK.

Idiosyncratic...in a good way

Pros: Quiet room, easy to find location, easy to park, I wasn't expecting any breakfast but there was modest provision (instant porridge pots) that would have been useful if I had needed them. The notes on luggage tags were a novel and useful touch and the fabric picture by another guest hung on the wall was very nice. Moulton itself is a lovely village with places to walk and places to eat.

Cons: Couldn't get the wi-fi working but that was probably due to me not looking closely enough at the options and not realising that the EE coming up was that lot muscling in and not the intended hub that should have been first up.

Rustic and reliable.

Pros: Simple accommodation with all the essentials and a good price. Communication from host was very good.

Pros: Super friendly,the selection of snacks on top of communal fridge,lots of selection in shower cabinet incase you forgot anything,bed was comfy,minimal noise,also had tea making resources in room and also a couple of snacks too,would stay here again ,we really enjoyed it here.

Cons: nothing ali is great.

A great place tucked away in a very rural area

Pros: excellent for a budget stay, the owner is very considerate and a nice person.
