Staff excelled and made our stay great

Pros: Very accommodating for us and although next to a main road, didn’t hear any traffic. Staff were great when checking in and told us about the free gym (which we weren’t aware of)

Cons: The fire alarm went off at 3am and when we had got down to reception/entrance there was no staff to guide us to where we needed to go. Alarm then went off and we weren’t sure if it was safe to go back to our room

Pros: How friendly the staff where, the location was perfect for where we needed to be and breakfast was lovely

Cons: Youngsters outside the bedroom window having been at a party, shouting screaming drinking, husband had to ring reception who appeared to deal with this swiftly but it did wake us.

Enjoyable

Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable, bar was lovely, staff lovely.

Cons: The only issue (and this is minor) was breakfast seemed badly organised and they seemed short staffed. No food and it took ages to come out.

Absolutely brilliant

Pros: The room was very large and it was spotless, the staff was very friendly and helpful and we must say that the bartender Lee was fantastic, he went above and beyond (bought a bottle of drink because they didn't have it) alot of hotels could learn alot by having staff like him, also a shout out to Helen who was a lovely lady in the restaurant at breakfast
