Relaxing stay with outstanding food and pleasant staff

Pros: The whole experience was of a high standard. On arrival we were greeted by pleasant staff whi informed us our room had been upgraded. The room was huge, clean and had great facilities including the large whirlpool bath. The bar had a wonderful atmosphere and the restaurant food was outstanding. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Decadent, luxurious, tranquil, peaceful and friendly

Pros: A country retreat that is perfect for everybody. They made us and our pampered pooch very welcome. The 15 century part looked amazing and the new extensions they have kept in parr.

Pros: Lots of character the staff were lovely and very helpful, sticky toffee pudding was the best I have ever had in my life! The spa bath in the room was spectacular and the breakfast was a little bit over priced but very good.

Cons: The only issue I had was the food in the restaurant wasn’t to my taste, personally I found it quite bland. The duck breast wasn’t seared enough for my liking, there was a lot of potential for the dish which I expected to be amazed about but was quite disappointed.

The Oaksmere is a lovely place, it felt a little understaffed for the event and guests that attended

Pros: The Oaksmere is a lovely hotel in a lovely place. The food was great and the bar and aviary provided an excellent venue for the event I attended.

Cons: There was no spare loo roll in my bathroom and I couldn't reach anyone on reception when I called about it .
