Pros: Staff where amazing, tbe rooms very comfortable, food and drinks amazing. For a stay away Christmas it was perfect foe me and all my family.

Cons: Slight mix up with the bill on xmas day, it was busy so wasnt that there faukt, however rectified later and in fact a little was taken of the bill so I was happy..

Wonderful overnight stay - shame I couldn't stay longer!

Pros: Very responsive and helpful host - I was travelling with work and they were able to accommodate a late check out so that I could attend my meetings. Really appreciated! Super comfy beds, huge bathroom - all very clean and welcoming.

Excellent little hotel-cum-restaurant, great ambiance in lovely setting.

Pros: I've stayed here before and wasn't disappointed. I loved the view from our room, which looked out over the fields. Loved the food in the restaurant and the excellent service. Staff were friendly, accommodating and efficient. The location is in my favourite Dedham Vale village. Plus, it feels like a 'local' that people go to for a good meal and a drink, rather than a hotel only for tourists. Good ambiance.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Very good fish menu - well cooked and just the right quantity. Quiet rooms. Very helpful staff.

Pros: The bedroom was great apart from a very hard bed and needed more bedding The modern, bathroom exceptionally smart and clean, shower great. Plenty of parking close to the bedroom. The dining area was a pleasure place to eat and enjoy the excellent food. Staff brilliant.

Cons: The hard bed as above, and an extra chair in the bedroom would be nice.

Highly Recommend

Pros: Great stay. The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. We had a sharing board in the bar Sunday evening which was fantastic and breakfast was also outstanding. The service was really good (especially in the bar in the evening). We would definitely return again.

Excellent location

Pros: The room was lovely, big and airy with an outside seating area which was a lovely surprise. The bathroom was huge and provided some really nice toiletries. The pub had a great atmosphere and we enjoyed our evening.

Cons: As we sat down to eat breakfast at 9:00am, it was obvious the carpet had not been hoovered as it was covered with remnants of food which had fallen to the floor from the busy night before. Rather unpleasant and unnecessary. Even though the breakfast was nice, it was somewhat spoilt by the random grape, cocktail stick and crumbs which scattered over the floor under and around our table.
